Meet Carl

I’m Carl, founder of Green Wellness Coaching. I support frontline workers across Northern Ireland who are struggling with stress and burnout.


My work focuses on practical, trauma-informed coaching that helps people recover from chronic stress, regulate the nervous system, and rebuild sustainable wellbeing. I combine coaching, movement, and behaviour change to support real, lasting recovery - not quick fixes.


My background in Community Development supports a people-centred approach to health and wellbeing, with a focus on the real-life challenges faced by individuals and communities.


Having worked in fitness and community settings for over 20 years, I understand the pressures that come with caring roles and how quickly stress and burnout can build up.


Qualifications & Background


  • BSc (Hons) Community Development -Supporting health and wellbeing through people-centred practice


  • Postgraduate Certificate in Trauma Studies - Understanding trauma, stress responses, and nervous system regulation


  • Personal Trainer & GP Exercise Referral Instructor - Promoting safe movement for recovery, resilience, and wellbeing


  • Sports Massage Practitioner - Supporting physical recovery, relaxation, and stress release


  • 20+ Years in Fitness & Community Work  - Frontline experience working in high-pressure and people-focused environments
